On offer is this bentwood and cane chair made to a design by Josef Hoffmann for Thonet in the 1930s.
Please note that this is not an original 1930s chair, it was manufactured under licence in Poland in the 1960s. Having said that it has look and style of the original 811 F chair.
This piece is in good vintage condition commensurate with its age. The caning is intact and the bentwood frame in good condition. There are a couple of small areas of damage to the arm and back, please see images for details. We have not stripped the chair, just cleaned and oiled it, to keep the original patina a look.
