I cannot emphasise enough just how flexible this unit is! Retailed by Habitat in the 1980s the set was originally sold as a child's interlocking table and chair which, when not in use, could be 'locked' together into a cube and packed away until the next time is was needed.
Made of bent plywood the pair can, of course, be used for their original purpose. Or, can be utilised as a stylish pair of side tables which would look great in any contemporary or mid-century setting.
The pair are in good vintage condition, with only minor marks and signs of use (please see images for details.) One table is slightly darker than the other as one has been kept near a window. I don't think this distracts from their looks.
One table is slightly larger than the other to allow for the 'interlocking' capability.
