The Svane daybed was designed in the 1960s by Halder Vik and Ingmar Relling for the Norwegian company Ekornes,
The sofa has a seating area with two removable back cushions and a couple of great secrets! to the left is a cubby compartment for all the things you need for a comfortable night in front of the TV. The seat lifts and reveals a place for you to store away blankets and pillows.
The back cushions can be moved to the area over the cubby to turn the sofa into a really comfortable daybed.
This is such a flexible piece of mid-century furniture which is ideal for the modern home.
The daybed has been fully restored and reupholstered in a fabulous vintage 100% wool fabric.
