This piece was designed by Richard Young, the founder of Merrow Associates, in the 1960s.
The futuristic design of sleek chrome and toughened glass was an instant hit with the customers of high end stores such as Heals and Harrods. Not many were produced and so it is rare for pieces to come on to the market.
The chrome is in excellent condition with no pitting or losses. There are 2 small chips on the edges of one shelf, please see images for details.
