1960s Czech Armchair by Jiri Jiroutek for Jitona
1960s Czech Armchair by Jiri Jiroutek for Jitona
Designed by Jiri Jiroutek for Jitona for the Brussels Expo of 1958 this sweet armchair has a beech frame and stunningly simple lines.
This particular chair was made in the Czech Republic in 1967 (please see images for the original makers card I found whilst stripping the chair).
The chair has been fully stripped, re-webbed and newly upholstered using a coral colour pure wool fabric which, I feel, compliments the natural beech frame.
The chair is in excellent condition and the new upholstery complies will all current UK and EU fire safety regulations.
